collaborative culinary brand design.

As part of the JWU Design Team, I collaborated with a group of designers to create full brand identities for two student-run restaurant pop-ups: Issan Café and Tum Sofrasi. These concepts were part of the University’s Casual Cuisine event, where culinary students hosted real-life grand openings on campus.
Our team developed cohesive branding systems that captured each restaurant’s cultural inspiration. Issan Café had bright Thai patterns and handcrafted type, and Tum Sofrasi with warm, traditional Turkish motifs. 
The deliverables included menus, table numbers, chopstick holders, banners, flyers, and social media content, all designed to enhance the dining experience and visually unify each pop-up. Seeing our designs showcased during the live openings was an exciting, hands-on opportunity to merge visual communication with culinary storytelling.
