Annual Report

telling a story of justice through design.

Design can be a powerful tool for change, especially when telling the story of justice and humanity. The Pennsylvania Prison Society’s annual report was redesigned by me to better capture the heart of its mission: dignity, compassion, and reform.
The original report was filled with powerful stories, advocacy wins, and important data, but the presentation felt scattered and hard to follow. For the new design, I decided to bring everything together with a clear, modern layout that balances words and visuals, making the information easier to absorb. Using stock images for the info graphics, they call out key statistics. Bold typography and hierarchy leads readers through the content, and photography keeps the focus on the people most affected by the justice system.
The result is a report that feels both professional and human, helping the Society share its message with impact and inspire meaningful change!
